Santa Fe Trail takes you through the communities of Palmer Lake and Monument, and then it turns onto the Air Force Academy territory. The trail is a really nice, wide multi-use trail that makes for an easy hike. <br />

Numerous parking areas for this trail. 1. Take Woodmen Rd. West from I-25. After the first bridge over the creek, turn right into the parking lot. The trail goes north or south from here. 2. Access from the Air Force Academy is also possible via the north and south entrances.
